Miranda Lambert Just Took A Well-Deserved Break From Her Residency

After a few weeks of hard work and sold-out performances at her Las Vegas residency, Miranda Lambert is taking a breather at her Tennessee home with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin.

The country star shared a heartwarming video on Instagram that expressed gratefulness for her mini-vacation and showed off some of her home life with McLoughlin. And fans loved it.

'Ain't No Welcome Home Like Some Homemade Happiness'

Lambert's main tribute to McLoughlin comprised an Instagram video that showed McLoughlin cooking a homemade meal, before showing Lambert's dogs enjoying the food in ways reminiscent of Lady and the Tramp. The video, which boasted Dean Martin's "That's Amore" as its soundtrack, ended with the couple enjoying red wine and smiling in front of a meal. The video itself was enough to convey Lambert's bliss, but the caption really sealed the deal.

"We made it back from Vegas feeling both fulfilled and tuckered out from being gone a month. Ain’t no welcome home like some homemade happiness by @brendanjmcloughlin," she wrote.

The Fans Dug It, Big Time

Despite recent controversies involving Lambert's appearance at a Jason Aldean concert in Nashville, her fans seemed very supportive of her well-deserved break.

"You got the best life! SO HAPPY FOR YOU ❤️," wrote one person. "Y’all are too cute ❤️❤️❤️," added another. "I just love you guys! Thanks for keeping it real 🙌❤️," said yet another fan.

More Bliss, Birthday Edition

Lambert also celebrated McLoughlin's birthday with him recently. Last week, the 38-year-old singer shared a picture of a shirtless McLoughlin and wrote, "Happy birthday to my 💙 @brendanjmcloughlin! So happy to celebrate the man with the biggest heart and biggest smile. A lover of all things food, cooking, golf, animals , fitness, sunshine , home, adventure, travel, friends, family and me. I love you so much! #31."

For his part, McLoughlin responded with two perfect red hearts.

McLoughlin Is The Perfect Partner

Since her marriage to McLoughlin in 2019, Miranda has been vocal about the supportive and grounding influence that McLoughlin has had in her life.

"I take myself way too seriously, and I think I've really calmed down, getting out of my head and stuff, because he's so full of joy," Lambert told People in June. "It's nice to have a partner in that, someone by your side that supports you, loves you and believes in you. He loves me for me. It's a really cool thing to have in my life, at this point in my life."
